Tan Boon Hong   陈文峰

When I met my batchmates for training in NYLTI in the 1960s, I realized that I had started a career with the PA after schooling. That was what I wanted to achieve to the best of my ability and I was glad that I did.

My community learning experience started with my postings to the various fields including the National Service Vigilante Corps (NSVC), the PA and its community centres. My early career gave me the necessary exposure and experience to widen my horizon. It was helpful when I chose to change career path for my own venture.

Like many branches on a tree, we chose to grow in different directions for personal achievement and betterment but yet our roots remained as one. In 2013, the former 4th Batch OSs made a special effort to relive the good memories. I happily joined our friends for reunion gatherings to catch up again. What a nice way to enjoy life and be remembered as if we were in the past.

Here are some photos I would like to share with my former colleagues for a fond memory of the good old days.
